EY Ireland announces six new partners

REPRO FREE 6/7/2016 EMBARGOED UNTIL 01.00 on 7/7/2016 EY Ireland has today announced the appointment of six Partners, bringing the total number of Partners within the Irish business to 61. Reflecting the strong client demand for its advisory services, EY has promoted two new Partners within its Performance Improvement business - Marcus Gageby and Barry McCarthy - while Niamh O'Beirne has been promoted to Partner within People Advisory Services. Within its tax division, EY has promoted Cork-based Seamus Downey, underlining the Firm's continued investment in the Munster region, as well as Ian Collins who heads up EY's Research & Development team. High growth sectors which are core to Ireland's sustained economic prosperity such as life sciences, are also key areas of investment for EY, reflected by the Firm's appointment of Feargal De Freine as Assurance (audit) Partner from Baxter Healthcare.
